The Echinodermata collection of Tel Aviv Zoological Museum includes many marine specimens collected mostly in the East Mediterranean, northern Red Sea (Gulf of Aqaba and Gulf of Suez) and Eritrea. Additional specimens are from southern Red Sea, West Indian Ocean, West Mediterranean, and some from East Pacific Ocean. In the collection there are more then 2,000 samples cover hundreds of species found from 1400 m deep to shallow water. Most specimens are preserved in ethanol, but some are as dry skeleton.

The collection covers most of the Echinodermata classes such as Holothuroidea, Echinoidea, Crinoidea, Asteroidea and Ophiuroidea.
