Please note our opening hours!
The Museum will be open 10-18 on Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat and Mon (December 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10, 2018). On Fri, December 7, 2018, the Museum will be open 10-14.
During Chanukah you can also come closer to nature at the Museum’s exhibitions. Each exhibition offers an extraordinary opportunity to observe and experience the life and nature around us. The Museum’s exhibitions include thousands of items from the national natural history collections amassed at Tel Aviv University over many decades, some of them rare. The outdoor exhibition “The Rainbow Sea” in partnership with the National Museum of Natural History (Paris), displays photographs by 40 Israeli and French photographers, taking you deep down into the heart of the coral reefs of Israel and France.
In the Educational Gallery you will meet our guides in a “Live Meeting” daily at 11:30, where they will present a surprising and interesting selection from the natural history collections. Entrance to these meetings is on a first-come first-served basis.
Short films that combine nature photography and animation of the magical world of arthropods will be screened in the Auditorium. These activities are included in the Museum admission price.
A Chanukah Special: A visit to the Museum combined with a guided tour of the Botanical Garden, located nearby.
Tours will be offered daily at 11:00 and at 13:00. The number of places is limited, so please book tickets for the desired tour time. The ticket includes the Museum admission price. *Tours will take place subject to weather conditions.
