Scientists’ Night 2019

  • A unique interaction and close-up encounter with nature that cannot be experienced anywhere else.

The Steinhardt Museum is celebrating Scientists’ Night 2019 and joining the “Ideas Festival” at Tel Aviv University. During the evening you’ll be exposed to unique perspectives on the fields of science and research at the museum, through a hands-on, multi-sensory and fun experience, involving a unique interaction and close-up encounter with nature that cannot be experienced anywhere else.

In honor of Scientists’ Night visits to the museum will be free of charge with advance booking. The collection managers will present collection items and unique research stories in the museum’s educational galleries. The museum will also host various lectures and we will even offer an origami workshop.

The Steinhardt Museum of Natural History at Tel Aviv University offers the public a glimpse of Israel’s national natural history treasures, selected from a scientific collection including five and a half million items. Thousands of items that were collected over the years are on display in the museum’s exhibitions, in exhibits and rare displays, telling the story of the world of nature around us.

This is an opportunity to meet researchers and curators and enjoy a range of activities in the unique spaces of the museum.
