The National Collections of Natural History at Tel Aviv University comprise the Tel Aviv University Zoological Museum (TAUZM), the National Algae, Fungi and Lichens Collections, and the National Biological Anthropology collections and provide an active, continuously updated, and comprehensive record of the biodiversity of Israel and its neighboring regions.. The collections comprise millions of specimens that reflect the terrestrial, aquatic, and marine life of our region over the past century, as well as the evolution and history of humankind. As such, they constitute a significant research infrastructure for scientists worldwide, as well as being available to the public through the Nature Campus activities.
