Database manager

Yonatan Gur is a collection manager of Fungi and database manager at the Steinhardt Museum. He completed his Masters degree at Tel Aviv University under Prof. Amir Sharon, working on pathogenic Fungi in agriculture. He continued to research symbiotic fungi in wild and cultivated wheat, where he specialized in their molecular identification. He started working at the museum in 2018.
Yonatan shares a passion for plants as well, and his interests includes plant–fungi interconnections and other types of myco-association.

Yonatan also acts as the Museums database manager and is an experienced “data wrangler”, providing data analysis and support for both internal and external personnel.
