The Steinhardt Museum is proud to be home to three applied policy-relevant research centers that are managed jointly with the Israel Nature and Parks Authority, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, and Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael (Jewish National Fund). The Open Landscape Institute is also managed jointly with the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel.
These centers carry out ecological surveys and monitoring in Israel’s terrestrial and aquatic systems and prepare policy documents for the preservation and sustainable management of Israel’s open landscapes.
