Avigail Ben-Dov Segal completed her Masters degree at Tel-Aviv University under Prof. Arnon Lotem, working on Parental care and communication in House Sparrows.
She began working at the museum as a technician in the Crustacea collection and as an administrative assistant. Later she moved on to establish the museum’s Feather Identification Lab. The Lab identifies bird remains for the Israeli Air Force, the Israel Airports Authority, the Civil Aviation Authority and the Israel Nature and Parks Authority.
She loves all things great and small, taxonomists and to draw in her free time.
