Dr. Revital Ben-David-Zaslow is the Chief Collection Manager of the Steinhardt National Collections of Natural History. She completed her PhD at the Department of Zoology, Tel Aviv University, 1998, with a dissertation on the “Relationship between temporal environmental parameters and reproductive processes of the soft coral Heteroxenia fuscescens,” supervised by Prof. Yehuda Benayahu. After graduate Revital began work in the mollusc and fish collections of the Zoological Museum. During her first years at the museum she completed a diploma in Museology at Tel Aviv University.

As a Marine biologist she is also involved in special marine projects (national and international collaborations) and acting as the Coelenterata collection manger.
