The Steinhardt Museum of Natural History offers a rich variety of programs for the general public. You can book guided tours for groups of 10-20 visitors.
- The Steinhardt Museum exhibitions: A tour of three to four of the museum’s exhibitions, tailored to the pace and interests of the group. During the tour, visitors will encounter a wide variety of animals from Israel and around the world and learn about the natural world, nature conservation, biodiversity, and more.
- The Yehuda Naftali Botanical Garden, located adjacent to the museum building: The garden features collections of plants from Israel and neighboring regions, as well as unique plant collections from around the world. These collections make the garden a dynamic “living museum” showcasing the plant kingdom in its many forms. The garden serves as a center for ecological and botanical research and is home to approximately 3,800 plant species from Israel and around the world. Please note: It is not possible to visit all of the museum’s exhibitions in a single tour.
- Two in one – Museum exhibitions and botanical garden guided tour: A tour of few museum’s exhibitions where the visitors encounter a wide variety of animals from Israel and around the world and learn about the natural world, habitats, nature conservation, biodiversity, and more; plus a tour of the Yehuda Naftali Botanical Garden, located near the museum building. The visitors explore displays of plants from Israel and neighboring regions, as well as special plant collections from around the world. The tour is adapted to site conditions and weather.
