School visits to the Steinhardt Museum
We invite you to bring your class to a guided tour of the Natural History Museum: an experiential, multi-sensory, fun and educational journey that encourages questions and curiosity and provides a deep introduction to the natural world.
The Steinhardt Museum of Natural History at Tel Aviv University is home to approximately five and a half million items of animals and plants, reflecting the biodiversity of our region. Thousands of fascinating items from the vast collection are on display to the general public in eight permanent exhibitions, which provide an introduction to a variety of animals and their adaptations to their environment, which have evolved over millions of years. Here you can observe birds of prey up close, watch the surprising behaviors of live insects, and get to know a variety of mammals, birds, reptiles, and other animals that live in our region.
