Dr. Jotham Ziffer Berger

Dr. Jotham Ziffer Berger is an associate curator at the Steinhardt Museum Herbarium and serves as the keeper of the land plant and lichen collections. Dr. Ziffer-Berger earned his doctorate from the University of Erlangen in Germany, specializing in South Brazilian flora. His research focusses on plant systematics, taxonomy and morphology. He is a lecturer of biology at the Levinsky College in Tel Aviv, and at Bar Ilan University, and a member of the Flora and Fauna Committee at the Israel Academy of Sciences.
